Destinations · Africa
East and Southern Africa for groups of fifteen to eighty travellers. Private conservancies, specialist guides, and DMC partnerships held in place for decades, composed for the way your group actually moves.
Overview
Africa rewards groups that move with intent. The continent's safari infrastructure was built around small vehicle capacities, permit caps, and airstrip schedules that do not accommodate late pivots. Atlas sizes each itinerary to those constraints from the outset , allocating vehicles, guides, and camp capacity before a single traveller is confirmed.
Our East and Southern Africa programmes operate through DMC partnerships held in place for decades, not seasonal suppliers. Accessibility varies meaningfully across the region: most safari operations now offer mobility-adapted vehicles and transfer lifts, though a minority of concessions and walking-intensive experiences cannot accommodate wheelchair travellers. We flag these constraints during the design phase so your group's composition drives the itinerary, rather than the reverse.
